Man Escapes Rollover Accident Unharmed
A crash in Harrisonburg Friday left one car flipped over and sent one person to the hospital.
It happened at the corner of Market Street and Evelyn Byrd Avenue. One person was taken by ambulance to Rockingham Memorial Hospital. We spoke with the man whose car flipped over and he told us how he got out of the car, upside-down.
"I put my feet down on the ceiling of the vehicle, and I pulled my weight off the seatbelt to where I could get the tension off of it so I could get it unbuckled and I crawled through the drivers side window," says Robert Varner.
Robert Varner says he has no injuries, not even a scratch but he says his truck is likely a total loss.
