There are a lot of different activities kids and parents can do together to get excited about being healthy.
The activity calendar is a neat way for parents to encourage their kids to exercise.
Click the "Create My Calendar" button to get started.
You will be brought to a page with a list of activities on the right and a week chart on the left.
If you want to look at specific activities, click the "Select an Activity Group" drop-dow box to choose a category. You can also look at all of the options by choosing "All Activities."
The "Bonus Activities" category parents will love to encourage their child to do like doing household chores or washing the car.
To add an activity to the calender, click the "add" button next to each option. Then choose what day you will complete the activity and for how long.
Click the "Add to Calendar" button and the activity will appear in your schedule.
When you are all finished putting your activities into the calendar, click the "Print Week" button.
The next window will appear with your personalized calendar.
To get more information on some of the more popular activities, such as frisbee or soccer, you can check out the "Activity Cards" page.
Just click on the activity you are most interested in. For example, here I chose the "Snorkeling" activity.
These cards will show you exactly what muscles you will strengthen when completing that activity.
