The number of crashes on Interstate 64 across Afton Mountain continues to be a problem, and when there is low visibility or severe weather, it certainly doesn't help.

In order to make your commute safer, the Virginia Department of Transportation is talking about possible improvements in that area at an informational meeting.

 

Mass. Woman Jailed after Posing as Boy in W.Va.

A Massachusetts woman will remain jailed without bail on a federal charge alleging she posed as a teenage boy to sexually prey on a West Virginia girl.

 

People High on Bath Salts Filling up the E.R.

Statistics from the American Association of Poison Control Centers show that in 2010, about 300 people went to the emergency room for bath salts related conditions and just one year later, that number multiplied 20 times to 6,000 people in the hospital for that drug.
