Cold Case Investigation in Harrisonburg Resurfaces

It's been nearly 30 years since a Harrisonburg woman went missing from a local gas station she was working at on South Main Street.

 

 

Police: Bath Salts User Leads Them on Chase

According to Virginia State Police, a West Virginia man sent police on a high speed chase through the Valley after smoking bath salts.

It was the talk of the town Thursday in Augusta County along Route 11 South. That was where most of a high speed chase happened.

Joshua Cecil is the man who allegedly ran away from police. You can see him in this picture:

 

 

Authorities Capture Bear Cub by Quaker Steak

 

Thursday afternoon, a young black bear was spotted walking around University Ave in Harrisonburg.

Police officers treed the bear behind Quaker Steak and Lube. They kept him up there until a person with the Department of Game could safely capture him.
