Lone Survivor Of Deadly Fire Returns To The Scene

Stokes said when fire and rescue squads arrived, he was quickly put into an ambulance and taken to Augusta Health. It wasn't until his daughter told him shortly after 1 a.m. that his wife Wilda, son Charles, Daughter-in-Law Sharon, grandson Matthew, never made it out.

 

Friends and Family Remember Ben Graessle

 

Ronnie Conley is remembering a close friend.

"I always saw him smiling. If you saw him coming, you would see a smile on his face," Conley said.

Ben Graessle's smile faded on Sunday morning after he was shot. 

 

Late Night Murder Has Police Searching For Answers

Shortly before 1 a.m. someone was throwing a party at an apartment complex on Port Republic Road. A fight broke out in the breezeway outside Ben Graessle's apartment.
