Arrests Made in School Bomb Threats

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. -- The people responsible for a string of bomb threats at several Rockingham County schools will face criminal charges. Seven bomb threats have been made in county schools since Dec. 14th.

 

Police Arrest Suspect in Breaking and Entering Incidents

Carol Lam is the manager at the Valley Exxon in Page County. She said on Dec. 30, someone broke into the gas station and stole almost 20 cartons of cigarettes.

 

Man Dies in Traffic Crash

 

STAUNTON, Va. -- A driver has died as a result of a car crash.

Investigators determined that the driver, James F. McCrea, 64, Staunton, was not wearing his seat belt when he was ejected from his car. There were no other passengers in the car at the time.
