Many Still Without Power After Storm Dealing with the Heat

With mansions spread across secluded, wooded lots, Great Falls in suburban Washington is one of the wealthiest areas in the nation. But because the city is so sparsely populated, it's not a top priority for utility crews trying to get as many people back online.

 

Outages Close 3 Va State Parks, Remainder Open

Three state parks in Virginia are closed because of power outages but 31 others remain open. The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation says a series of severe storms knocked out electricity at four parks.
