Principal and Students Remember Classmate who Died in Car Wreck

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va -- Students at Turner Ashby High School remembered their classmate, Jackson Reel, on Wednesday. Jackson was a 16-year-old, who was killed in a car accident on Tuesday. He was riding in the car with a 17-year-old girl when the car hit a tree.

Teenage Driver, Passenger Killed in Car Crash in Rockingham County

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. -- Virginia State Police confirm that the 17-year-old driver in the crash has also died. She died Wednesday night at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Police Issue First "Blue Alert" for Virginia

On Wednesday, the Virginia State Police issued a law enforcement officer alert on behalf of the Stafford County Sheriff"s Office at 7 p.m. This "Blue Alert" is Virginia's first such activation to be done for this kind of alert.
