Twitter launched its music service on Thursday. The new layout makes it easy to discover new music and share it with followers.
The main page looks like this:
This page is full of all the music and artists currently trending on Twitter. To get a listen, just click on each block for the sample track from iTunes. From here, you can either tweet the snippet to your followers or buy it in iTunes. If you want to listen to the full tracks, link it up with your Spotify or Rdio account.
You can also click on the "Emerging" tab for a look at lesser known artists being tweeted about, or click on the "#NowPlaying" for a look at what other people you follow are enjoying.
Another cool aspect of this is that you can listen to samples from the music artists you follow on the "Me" tab. Then on the "Suggested" tab, you can discover more artists similar.
The great part about this service is the ease at which you can discover other great bands you might really love. When you click on the name of the artist, you can see all the musicians that he or she follows.
