The dry and relatively cool weather has moved out of our area with heat and humidity making a comeback. Our "Bermuda High" has taken control of the weather Monday and will continue to do so through the end of the week. Temperatures will stay in the 90's Monday and Tuesday with a weak cold front moving through later Tuesday. However, the front will bring little chance to our weather.
Heat continues to build in Wednesday and Thursday with better chances of showers and storms. Another weak front moves through Wednesday with an upper level disturbance trailing behind for Thursday. Severe storms look possible for the second half of the week, especially Thursday.
Brief relief from the heat comes at the end of the week but a stalled boundary will keep showers and storms in our forecast.
