Well - we made it! Our second major snowstorm is about to come to an end Saturday afternoon. This storm looks to make it to the record books for Baltimore as the all time greatest snowfall at the airport. Can you believe that we've had two major snowstorms in one season? Usually we don't have two in ten years!
The storm is taking a little longer to move off the eastern seaboard this afternoon. Expect the light to moderate snow to continue through the afternoon hours and taper off to flurries by the time you sit down for dinner Saturday evening.
We received exactly what we expected: 18-24 inches with isolated amounts up to 30 inches. Some areas in Augusta County saw lesser amounts due to a mix of sleet Friday night. Hopefully everyone stayed safe during the storm - Josh will have the latest winter coverage all Saturday afternoon and evening!
Here are the latest totals as we finish the last hour of Daybreak (even though it's the afternoon!)
