A strong cold front that pounded the Midwest & East Coast with severe weather is finally to our east. There were over 1,000 severe weather reports (SPC) on April 3 & 4, with 20 of those being unconfirmed tornado reports and over 600 wind damage reports on April 4. That's one angry front.
However, we're coming into a more spring like, yet cloudy (and somewhat rainy), pattern for the weekend. A series of disturbances will come through from Wednesday all the way through the weekend, bringing warm air, but a lot of shower chances.
Right now our "dry" days look to be Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. On the other days, I would keep the umbrella handy, just in case we have some stray showers. Another strong cold front will come through Monday, which should bring back some more consistent sunshine.
