Our first moderate snow storm has come and gone, but is there more on the way? Plus, your comments answered! Read all about it in today's blog!

Today's snow didn't bring us many surprises. We saw the greatest amount in the southern Valley (4-5") and smaller amounts moving north through the Valley. Please send us, or post, your snow totals!

I think it's safe to say that we'll be seeing the white stuff on the ground for a while, especially with another few chances on the way. The possibility of some weekend light snow still exists for Sunday morning, although I wouldn't cross my fingers just yet. In addition, it looks like another round of light snow could approach Tuesday/Wednesday of next week. Looks like we'll be white for Christmas!

Thank you all so much for the comments on yesterday's blog! All the responses are posted below.

Jessica - I guess you got your answer this morning! Almost all schools in our viewing area did close schools for the day.

Stu - No worries, I don't think this winter will be anything like last year's winter. But of course we'll always keep you updated with the snow!

Dan - I hope things have cleared up in Staunton!

Scott - The system really weakened after 1pm. What did you end up with?

Patricia - I'm pretty sure we'll have a white Christmas!

MrSoul - I know... I didn't practice what I preach. I forgot my hat at home :( I won't forget it next time!!

Stay tuned to my blog for the latest on your forecast!
