I almost took a break from the blog since it's been going nonstop the past couple of days, but I think the break will come tomorrow since the weather will be tranquil.
We're still looking at upslope snow in the higher elevations with winter storm warnings in effect for the western slopes until early Thursday morning. That's where all the snow is for those who have been asking for it!
Winds subside Thursday with some sunshine returning to the region. Cloud cover will move back in for a brief period on Friday and Saturday as upper level disturbances move just to our north. Same thing goes for Sunday and Monday as a storm system begins to develop west of the region Tuesday.
That's the next storm system we have to keep our eyes on. Models are not in agreement (what a surprise). Some have us very warm - leading to an all rain event. Others have us colder, so we need to keep an eye on the long range models.
I will take a brief hiatus tomorrow, returning to the blog Friday and likely at least once over the weekend. Be sure to check facebook and twitter to see when the blog is updated!
