A few clipper systems will move close to the area over the next 48 hours, but eyes are once again on next week. Read all about it in today's blog!

Hello everyone!

A short blog today since it's been a little crazy - I think we all need a breather!

Two clipper systems will move through the Mid-Atlantic over the next 48 hours. Some light snow showers are possible just after the morning commute Friday but the majority of the snowfall will be on the Allegheny Front and along & east of the Blue Ridge.

Don't be surprised if you see some snowflakes throughout the morning Friday but we'll clear out for the afternoon. Once again clouds move back in Friday night ahead of the second clipper system, which should stay mainly to the north. Extreme northern parts of the Valley may see some flurries, but otherwise we'll be spared. Skies gradually clear again Saturday night, bringing some pleasant weather conditions back for Sunday.

The mid-week is looking active once again - don't worry. I'll keep you updated all the way through it!
