Spring began on Monday, but we're getting a round of summer-like thunderstorms in the Valley Wednesday afternoon. Read all about it in today's blog!

Keep an eye and ear on the sky Wednesday afternoon, as a round of strong to severe thunderstorms roll through the area. The biggest threat with today's storms are large hail and damaging winds, however isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

The time frame we're looking at is 2pm to 8pm tonight, though we could still see heavy downpours and hear a few rumbles of thunder through midnight.

Remember to be extra careful when severe storms approach and move through. Stay away from windows and get into an interior room.

After this cold front moves through tonight, we'll start to get a taste of winter back in the Valley. High temperatures on Thursday with struggle to reach 50º and by the weekend, we're going to be near 40 degrees. We even have the possibility of rain and snow showers as we move through Saturday and Sunday. This isn't a joke! Don't put away winter gear!
