It may be the end of the work week, but the weather is trying *very* hard to make us stay in bed longer and longer each day.
Thursday will be no different. Low lying cloud cover and fog have blanketed the Valley this morning, leaving us with reduced visibility across much of the area. A piece of good news is that most areas have stayed above freezing overnight, therefore icy spots are a non-issue in most areas.
Temperatures try to move into the mid 40's Thursday, though the cloud cover and dampness stay with us through the day. Round 3 (I believe...? there are so many) comes in this evening with another chance of rain and snow showers. Higher elevations (above 2500ft) may see some minor accumulation, though the Valley should remain above freezing and hard pressed to see even a dusting. This lingers into Friday morning, but some pockets of sun return for Friday afternoon before Round 4 comes into the Valley. This will affect us late Friday night into Saturday morning with yet again, another round of rain and showers.
That should be the last of it for the weekend. Some clearing will come in late Saturday and stick with us through Sunday. Plan something outdoors!
Next week brings some warmer air, but unsettled weather continues.
