Why Would Temperatures Cool Throughout the Day? 11/22

We're expecting a high temperature overnight and cooler temps throughout Wednesday, but why?

Why Would Temperatures Cool Throughout the Day?

Ever wonder why sometimes we say our "daily high" will be reached in the overnight hours, or very early in the morning?

Well with the situation on Tueday night we have a warm front positioned to our south, and I mean just to our south. So as we go throughout the evening this warm front is expected to lift northward. Bringing some slightly warmer temperatures with it.

So temps in the southern Valley will warm first, and then make it's way through towards the Winchester area later.

So expect temperatures to climb a few degrees overnight Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning.

But the cold front associated with the Low will move through early Wednesday so again, high temperatures will be early and as that cold front moves through from west to east, temps will cool through the day behind that front.

And that's not all! Expect some very windy conditions through the day as the low pressure system continues to deepen.

Good news for Thanksgiving, look for sunshine and a cooler day, but a high in the mid 50s is pretty much average for the holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving, and safe travels.
