This award helps fund the purchase of six digital cameras, six table tripods, a cart, clay, and assorted poster board products for a Claymation Station, which will be available for all classrooms and teachers at RES. Claymation is a form of animation that can be used creatively to demonstrate many concepts (such as atoms, plant growth, cells, time lines, etc.) Teachers can manipulate the clay to show growth, motion, passage of time, etc. to better explain and visualize lessons. Students will also be able to use this equipment to create all sorts of presentations.
