VCU to Offer Free Dental Services to Disadvantaged Children
RICHMOND, Va. (AP)
Virginia Commonwealth University's dental school will offer free services to uninsured and disadvantaged children this week as part of the national Give Kids a Smile Day.

Virginia Commonwealth University's dental school will offer free services to uninsured and disadvantaged children this week as part of the national Give Kids a Smile Day.

The School of Dentistry's Pediatric Dental Clinic will hold the event on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dental professionals will provide examinations, cleanings, X-rays, fillings and extractions. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, call 804-828-9095.

The American Dental Association created Give Kids a Smile Day to provide education and oral health care to children from low-income families.
