Bullying Crackdown

The Virginia Department of Education reports more than 12,000 incidents of crime and violence against Virginia school children last year.
In September, the Virginia Department of Health and schools across the state are implementing a bullying prevention program.
The program will address individual and bystander behaviors and promote social skills and parent and community involvement.
Signs that your child may be a bully include a hotheaded, dominant personality, a lack of empathy, a positive attitude towards violence and poor conflict-resolution skills.
