Rockingham County school leaders are concerned about bullying, and they discussed ways to prevent it during a retreat Tuesday.
Superintendent Dr. Carol Fenn says a big focus of their discussion was on coping skills, so that students know what to do and who to contact in case they are bullied.
"I think all schools work to have students who get along well, who work well together, who collaborate, who can problem solve together and we always want our students to be better about relationships," says Fenn.
She says they are also working on new strategies that will be implemented in all 24 schools.
