A new wheelchair-accessible trail on the grounds of the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center is receiving additional funds to keep the project going.
The Department of Rehabilitation Services commissioner has approved an agreement with the Department of Conservation and Recreation that will allow the WWRC to tap into more than $49,000.
The money will help complete the first loop of the trail. So far, several grants from various entities have enabled the center to lay 1,400 feet of the 3,500 foot trail.
