Rockingham County deputies say someone broke into a home on Stockings Circle over the weekend and stole two firearms. Deputies have identified a neighbor as the suspect.

Harrisonburg Police report that someone stole two guns from an unlocked car over the weekend. The car was parked on West Market Street.

A resident in Greenville is missing a motorized wheelchair. Augusta County deputies say someone stole the wheelchair and some tools from a shed on Avis Road last week. An old school bus on the property was also broken into.

Staunton Police were dealing with a string of shoplifting cases over the weekend. Seven stores reported shoplifting on Friday and Saturday. Three of those stores are on West Beverley Street.

Shenandoah County deputies are investigating a theft of something a little more unusual. They say someone chopped down and stole 28 trees from a property on Riverview Drive in Maurertown. Deputies suspect the trees were taken for firewood.
