Runners and walkers from all over the area laced-up Saturday morning, and it was all to help battle a very common killer.
People turned out for the 5th annual Race to Beat Breast Cancer.
Those who participated were happy to give back to the community and break a sweat for a good cause.
The 5 and 10-k run-walk was hosted by Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation at Westover Park.
