Recycled computers can really make a difference, especially when they're donated to low-income families trying to become more self-sufficient.
Ten computers were given to the Harrisonburg Housing Authority by the Virginia Recycling Center. The computers are going to low-income individuals trying to gain financial stability.
H.H.A. executive director Michael Wong says only employed participants working toward a goal to become financially stable are eligible to receive a free computer. The Housing Authority has 25 people participating in the new program.
