A spin on a traditional Mexican holiday celebration was held Friday night at Mary Baldwin College.
The school hosted its version of Las Posadas. The celebration is traditionally celebrated in Latin American communities to honor the search for shelter for baby Jesus.
At Mary Baldwin, however, Mary and Joseph, along with participants, walked the campus to various locations, which represented different cultural religions, including Ramadaan, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and Christmas in the Americas, Caribbean, and Africa.
