In Rockingham County, two guns were reported stolen during a gun show.
The gun show was taking place at the fairgrounds on Sunday. A .380 Jimenez Arms handgun and a .22-caliber handgun were reported stolen.
Also in Rockingham County, the Sheriff's Office reports that a vehicle was shot on Shell Hollow Lane in Dayton. The car was found with a bullet hole in the driver's side door over the weekend. It was parked in front of a home.
There are reports of damaged property in Harrisonburg as well. Police in the city reported 37 cases of vandalism or property damage during the final two weeks of November.
The Augusta County Sheriff's Office reports that someone smashed the window of a car and stole a purse. The purse had more than $200 in cash and some credit cards. It was parked at Penny Plate on Expo Road in Fishersville.
Staunton Police report that a Toyota truck was stolen from the driveway of a home on Donaghe Street Friday night. The truck is worth $8,000.
Waynesboro Police are trying to find the person responsible for a break-in at a storage facility. The burglary happened on Sunday at a storage building on the 2000 block of Miami Avenue.
In Shenandoah County, the Sheriff's Office reports that someone stole $3,000 worth of copper from an abandoned building. It was taken last Thursday or Friday from Aileen Road in Edinburg. Deputies say construction workers had left the copper pipes out in the open.
And the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man accused of stabbing his brother-in-law with a bayonet.
David Michael Huff, 47, was arrested on Sunday after deputies say there was an argument at a home on Kern Springs Road in Woodstock. The victim was stabbed in the neck, but the injuries were not life-threatening.
