If you're still trying to think of the perfect gift this holiday, the Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro may have an option for you. While the planning for the theatre is still underway, organizers say people can donate money to get a name engraved on the armrest of a chair that will sit in the theatre.

Director Clair Myers says the price is small considering this is something that will be around for a long time.

He says, "It's a thousand dollars if you pay it up front, or you can extend it over four years. The concern is that we make it possible for as many people as possible to join us in that project."

Myers says larger donations can also be made to the theatre to help with overall construction. He hopes the theatre will open in the spring of 2009.
