Starr Hill Going National

Beers from Crozet's Starr Hill Brewery may soon end up in stores across the country.

The Virginia brewery has announced a distribution deal with Anheuser-Busch that will allow eventually place its products in independent and chain stores. The brewery, which was founded in 1999, has been working on the deal for more than a year.

The company says it will distribute statewide by the middle of 2008. It plans to makes its beers available from New York to Atlanta within three years and nationwide in five to ten years.

Starr Hill has four award-winning beers: Amber Ale, Jomo Lager, Pale Ale and Starr Stout. It also produces several holiday beers. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
