Holiday Lantern Tours

The Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton is offering a way to escape from the Christmas bustle by visiting holidays of the past.

The museum continuing its guided holiday lantern tours this weekend. The tours last an hour and a half, and they require advance reservations.

Actors portray holiday scenes from several different countries.

"I really did think I was in those places," said Chris Pyle, after his first time of the lantern tour. "The acting was really great, and the songs were great."

The holiday tours continue Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
