Spring enrollment numbers are up about four percent for Blue Ridge Community College this upcoming semester, but other numbers have also gone up.
The number of minorities at community colleges state-wide has also increased.
In a new report from Virginia's Community Colleges, minority enrollment is up about 5,000 students from last year.
And minority student enrollment has increased 17 percent over the past two years.
The number of full-time students has also increased, showing that students are taking heavier course loads.
