resolutions
By this time, most people have started to think about resolutions for next year, and usually at the top of many lists is the promise to finally get into shape. However, it seems people tend to have a problem sticking to those personal promises.
Workers at Gold's Gym in Staunton says they're kicking off 2008 with a fresh look hoping people start off the New Year with a bang.
However, Kevin Pleasants says, despite resolutions to get in shape, people often wait weeks to get into a routine.
"It kind of spitters and sputters the first couple of weeks," says Pleasants. "Then people get through the holidays, really get into their fitness assessments and goals that they want to reach, get through the New Year's festivities."
Pleasants says this past Christmas, many people purchased Gold's Gym memberships for loved ones. He hopes that means they'll have a better turnout in January.
