A school bus carrying Augusta County Elementary School children was hit from behind Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Route 11 in Fort Defiance.
According to witnesses, a man was trying to pass the bus on its left side when he struck it.
The bus suffered minor damage, and all of the children escaped without injury.
