Absentee Voting in the Valley

Interest in the presidential primaries has some Valley voters still heading to their locality's registrar office to cast their absentee vote.

Registrars around the Valley say the number of these voters are up because the Commonwealth is holding both Democratic and Republican primaries next week.

Though the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot ended Tuesday, the registrar says you have until Saturday to vote if you've already applied.

For everyone else, they must vote in person during Virginia's primary next Tuesday, February 12.
