Three robberies from months ago in Harrisonburg remain unsolved. Harrisonburg Police Department needs your help in solving three armed robberies that occurred last summer.
On June 28 of last year around 9:45 p.m., two Hispanic men of small stature entered First Choice Deli at 1011 North Main Street and demanded money. One man had a handgun and the other had what appeared to be a sword. They were able to get away with several hundred dollars.
On July 11 around 10:10 p.m., two Hispanic men, again of small stature, entered Mike’s Food Mart at 1050 South Main Street. One was carrying a handgun and the other a sword. They demanded money and got away with more than $850.
On August 11 around 9:55 p.m., two men attempted to rob the Oriental Food Market at 921 South High Street. They entered the store with a handgun and a knife, demanded money, but were confronted by the store’s clerk. After a brief struggle, the suspects fled the scene without money.
