Several businesses were recognized Wednesday night for their efforts to make the Valley more high-tech.
The event included a reception, dinner, and the presentation of seven awards.
The winners were:
- Susquehanna Technologies for High Tech Company.
- Robin Sullenberger, Shenandoah Valley Partnership for High Tech Leadership.
- Chris Beard, Daily Newsleader for Innovative Technology Application.
- Wildlife Center of Virginia Innovative Technology Application and Chris Beard, Daily Newsleader for National Defense/Homeland Security.
- Prism Grant Collaborators, JMU College of Education for Innovation in Higher Education.
- Wilson Middle School, Bully Broadcast Thursday for Innovation in K-12 Education.
- Franklin J. Marks, Jr., Marks Products Inc. for High Tech Entrepreneur.
