The Regional Jail in Warren County continues to move forward.

Warren County Sheriff Daniel McEathron says the Regional Jail Transition Committee has been working towards deciding how much they'll pay future employees at the jail, but they won't be looking at any applications until closer to the opening date in July of 2013.

Leaders are also looking into what needs to be done as far as training.

As for the person who will run the new jail, McEathron says they won't start looking for candidates until February or March of 2013.

"We discussed that we need to become members to the training academy, so all of that stuff needs to be done by July of 2013. So, we're just working on a timeline when we can officially request for a membership with the academy."

McEathron says construction for the jail is on schedule.
