Air care and rescue squads responded to an accident Thursday that allegedly involved alcohol at Fort Defiance High School.

However, there wasn't an actual problem. The simulated accident was an effort by authorities and the school to remind students not to drink and drive on prom night.

The yearly event is held the week of prom to show students just what could happen if they were to get into an alcohol-related accident.
