If you live in Harrisonburg, and you have hazardous household materials to get rid of, you'll have a chance on Saturday.

The city is having a hazardous waste collection from 8 a.m. to Noon at 2055 Beery Road outside of the recycling center.

They are asking you not to bring anything that's not it its original container or that contains mercury. Officials say they also can't stress enough that they will not accept latex paint.

Is this for city residents only, or County residents too? And what are we supposed to do with latex paint? Bury it in the yard?
