Illnesses seem to be pretty sparse this week.

Dr. Jeffrey Feit with Page Memorial Hospital is reporting a nasty summer virus. It's causing fever. diarrhea and myalgia.

Feit says you really have to let the virus run its course, but your doctor should be able to offer symptomatic treatments for nausea, fever and muscle aches.

If you are a doctor here in the Shenandoah Valley or in the Potomac Highlands and you are interested in contributing to this weekly report, I'd love to include you. Please e-mail me at feedback3@whsv.com.
