Hospital Starts Recycling Program

As part of a green initiative, Rockingham Memorial Hospital is launching a pilot recycling program.

Plastic and aluminum recycling stations have been put around the hospital.

RMH hopes to gauge the recycling volume for the entire building with the belief that starting the program at the old building will make it easier to transition it to the new building.

RMH is currently working to get certified by the U.S. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Recycling is one the many initiatives that counts toward getting that standing.
