Gypsy Hill Park was the place for a parade in Staunton.
The annual event had the usual participants of antique cars, motorcycles, and local politicians.
Fresh on everyone's mind on this day dedicated to celebrating our freedom were those soldiers overseas fighting to maintain it.
"I'm glad to be an American and I'm proud to be one, and I hope the boys come back home soon," says Edmond Thomas of Stuarts Draft.
The festivities also included a music concert and a fireworks finale.
