City officials in Staunton gathered downtown for the unveiling of the Red Brick District.

It's the city's brand for the arts and culture district, which will showcase the walkable nature of the city.

City officials say it's also going to create a marketing opportunity for tourism.

Executive Director of the Staunton Augusta Arts Center Beth Hodge says, "We have these arts and culture groups in town, but we've never really had a way to join forces together and be as one. That's what an arts and culture district allows us to do."

A pamphlet will be soon available that will have more information for tourists.
