Augusta County leaders expect 17,000 new residents to move in, during the next twenty years.
The Augusta County Planning Commission says it is just about finished with its comprehensive plan, after months of working on it.
The plan maps out the county's growth over the next two decades. More than ninety residents attended the final public hearing to voice concerns yesterday.
Some requested land areas changed from rural conservation back to agricultural.
The planning commission will hold a work session on April 3.
