Kids College

Sending kids to school in the summer may sound like a form of punishment, unless it's sure to be fun. Thats the goal of college for kids.

Local young people can spend a week at college this summer, in a new program being offered by James Madison University and the Harrisonburg Children's Museum.

Classes led by JMU faculty and students will include forensics, steel drumming, using math to write music, lacrosse and art.

It's for children entering grades 4-9, and is scheduled for July ninth through the 13th.

To enroll, visit the Harrisonburg Children's Museum.
