The man who allegedly shot an Elkton man in the neck in January could get out on bond soon.
According to Rudolph Dean Jr, he and the victim got into a fight after a road rage incident on Route 340.
Dean is charged with malicious wounding and using a firearm in a felony. He was in Rockingham County Circuit Court Monday and could get bond if a judge approves. Dean has already had one bond hearing.
His attorneys say he acted out of self-defense.
Dean's trial is set to start in September.
