HARRISONBURG -- The Harrisonburg neighborhood, Belmont Estates, held it's semi annual yard sale today and people all across the Valley came out on Saturday.
Many people had to evade the many cars to get to the various stops. Sellers said the morning was very slow because the weather was a little cold.
Other said it's a nice tradition and they look forward to it every year. Buyers and sellers at the sell think since the economy has been turning around, more people are willing to spend the money.
"I believe the economy is picking up some what and spring of the year, people tend to want to get out and spend some money. Get some fresh air. We have been setting up here for six years in a row now and it seems to be increasing each year," said yard seller Glen Martin.
The yard sale went from 9 a.m. until noon.
