Click It or Ticket Program Kicks Off

Police officers are kicking off the “Click It or Ticket” campaign.

You may see more officers in Harrisonburg as they hit the road to keep you safe.

Police put a car that had been totaled in an accident on display to remind you to wear your seat belt at all times and officers posted signs and stickers all over the car and all over the busy roads in the city.

While police do this campaign every year, officers say it is important to remind people to stay safe.

This week HPD is educating the public and over the next few weeks, more officers will be out in full force.
