AUGUSTA COUNTY -- Students, interested in a career in health care, got an inside look at the field on Wednesday.

James Madison University students visited Augusta Health to talk to professionals about the job requirements. Most of the students were seniors who will graduate in the spring.

With health care reform on the horizon, there will be big changes in the field. Megan Roper, one of those students, thinks these changes will help her find a job.

"It is a little nerve racking, but it makes the field even more exciting to be entering right now,” said Roper, “With a bunch of changes, we're going to be needed to implement them, and think of new ideas and creative solutions of how to handle things like bundled payments and medicare."

A part of the Affordable Care Act requires hospitals to start keeping electronic files. That means more tech-savvy people will be needed to transfer electronic information.
